Their is a big difference between "hold you down" and "bring you down". I am dreamer so sometimes I fly into outer space, so I need good friends to serve as anchors hence the term "hold you down". Friends "hold you down" when you don't believe in yourself or if your just down on your luck at the time. But then on the flip-side there are the HATERS who try to "bring you down". I don't really know what causes people to Hate, but from my experiences it usually has to deal with some type of jealousy and sometimes people are just unhappy with their current situation and they try to "bring you down." Stay clear of those people and surround yourself around people that will always HOLD YOU DOWN. The name of the track that inspired this post is Bring you Down by Mike Posner ft. Big Sean & Freddie Gibbs. I love the hook its like my new anthem. It also related to my life because I kind of was slacking on my t-shirt game and my promo game but i have some stuff in store for you, hopefully literally.
