Doesn't it look so good. I don't know about you but I love funnel cake. I first fell in love with funnel cake on the way back from Six Flags. One of my friends bought some right before we were leaving so she could eat it on the bus and she gave me some. I been hooked since. I fiend for funnel cake. Its kind of an exotic treat of sorts. Its not hard to make but you only find it at carnivals, theme parks etc. This weekend was the "Taste of Cincinnati". All I could think of was that there would be funnel cake in walking distance. So the first day of the taste was Saturday ay 30, 2010. I walked down to the taste on my way to work and what do I see yeah you guessed it my long lost love "funnel cake". Then I saw the line. The line for funnel cake was longer than the line for Mixx on 3rd Saturday. OK maybe I'm exaggerating just a tad but I didn't have enough time to wait in line for funnel cake and still get to work on time. So I left with no funnel cake :(. Then Sunday I was determined to get some funnel cake. I was chilling in OTR for the FIEND t-shirt release. Then I started to think of what I was fiend for and I remembered funnel cake. So you know what they say "If at first you don't succeed, try try again". I marched downtown again got in line and got my funnel cake.
I changed my avatar on twitter to this picture of funnel cake. Here are some of the responses after I changed my avatar

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
So I was going thru my emails looking for thess characters for my clothing line so that I could give it to my homie BUGGS. Let me give you some brief s4l history. Before I made any t-shirts I had some characters created. The characters were personifications of love, hate, and a broken heart. The outline of the body of the characters is the shape of the heart on the sleeve of every shirt. Back to the unfinished business so as I was searching my gmail looking for that I found this Sucka4Love x Buggs tha Rocka collabo t-shirt that was never released. This was suppose to be the front of the shirt
The inspiration for the shirt came from a line from his last mixtape that goes "pacman just ate another power pellet"
Instead of ghost I tried to incorporate what would be the equivalent of ghost to an upcoming rapper so there is a cat with the word industry on it and it has an evil look and we had the radio in there because local radio hardly ever supports local artist. Also there is a hidden word in the image if you look at the score upside down.
This is the back of the shirt
I don't really know why we didn't make the shirt. But for the record I"ll just place the blame on BUGGS. Its crazy when you look back on old work and older concepts. I know he probably has some hidden tracks he never released or even some that aren't even recorded just some thoughts on scrap paper. It's crazy how the both of us have grown in our respective genres. I always joke around with him and tell him I am about to drop an album just to see his reaction. But speaking of growth and albums his new project is Mutant Level 5. He tells me it drops July 15. So make sure you download that.
PS If you want to see Rockaboy with this shirt hit him up on twitter @ROCKABOY and tell him to stop prancing LOL

Rocking My NEW T-shirt
So I just released a new t-shirt, "Do the Love Thing", which was suppose to be a women's release but due to a mistake from the local whole supplier they gave the screenrpinter a mens american apparel large. I actually wear a extra large mens shirt but I made it work. Peep the footwork those are the Jordan "Do the Right Thing" Spiz'ike this is the first time I ever worn them. Kiss deadstock goodbye (muah). That was my best jadakiss impression lol. Check out the photo below, this was the first shot that @nudy took. I guess you know why they call me son now

BOBBY HUXTABLE
I call this look "Bobby Huxtable". The weather in Cincinnati is very interesting one day it might be 84 degrees and the next day it's 55. This was one of those days. As I got dressed that morning a strange feeling of deja vu came over me. I don't know if this situation actually happened to me or its something I watched on "The Cosby Show" but this is what ran through my head as I got dressed and I know most people can relate to it. In high school I never really dressed according to weather outside. I was more concerned with my look as I walked through the halls. So i threw on my Nudie jeans and Jeremy Scott x Adidas. BTW these might be my favorite shoes I nicknamed them "Red Bull". Back to the story and then I ironed a black American Apparel t-shirt. I looked in the mirror and I was feeling myself and then I reached for my Corporate fitted (Yeah I finally copped my first Corporate fitted. I been wanting one of these for the longest. It seems like every time Corporate releases a hat it sells out in a day) grabbed my Northface bookbag and was ready to go. This is when the deja vu kicked in. I could almost hear my mom telling me to make sure I get some breakfast and I could see her looking at my outfit and saying "I know you not about to go outside like that. It's cold outside, get a jacket." This is the pivotal moment where I had to make a decision. I hate having to wear coats in May and it wasn't cold enough to warrant wearing an actual coat. So what to wear. This is that moment where your mom wont let you leave the house unless you have something that will keep you warm. This is when your mom suggest you wear one of your dad's cardigan and your mad for two reasons right now. 1st you think you're too old for your mom to still be dressing you and 2nd your too cool to be wearing one of your dad's cardigans. You probably don't even know what a cardigan is at this point. So you wear the cardigan and head to school. To your surprise everyone is digging your outfit from the hat to the shoes. You're even getting a good amount of compliments on your cardigan the same one you were too cool for earlier. The funniest part of this scenario is you take credit for everything. I love this look because its clean and simple. Your not freezing outside in attempt to look cool no pun intended. And you wearing a Bill Cosby like cardigan without looking like an old man. The Run Down 1. Corporate Hat 2. American Apparel t-shirt 3. J. Crew Cardigan 4. Nudie Jeans 5. Jeremy Scott x Adidas 5. Northface Backpack

HOW TO SCREENPRINT
Meet Brandon and Alex they own and operate SouthPaw Prints. They are located on 1425 main st. Cincinnati, OH. You are probably familiar with their work and you don't even know it. They printed my "no days off" and "love attracts all" t-shirts and they even printed my homie Seven's logo t-shirts for his tattoo shop. Today we will learn how to screen print. First I bring them my graphic usually as psd file and all they layers should be separated by color. So for instance in this shirt there was a screened burned for all the yellow elements and etc. Then they lay ink over the screen and lay the shirt down as flat as possible and then press up each shirt. The continue the process they have pressed up each screen to you get your final design. Then they put it this oven. The shirt passes through and then its done. You can order your t-shirt here. Hurry up and Buy there are only 25 of them.

GOT MY HUR DID
I FINALLY WENT TO CLEVELAND
So i always say I'm going to go to Cleveland and I never go. So one day I woke up and decided to go cleveland to go to the Wale show at the House of Blues. I drove to Akron to pick up the homie @mererene and then we went to the mall and copped a fit. We were in a such a rush. We ordered food to go from some restaurant whose name escapes me at the moment and then we went to her friends house to pre game before the show. We cam late and missed Tabi Bonney's set. Caught the middle of Jon Forte's set. I also met up with the homie @leolibrarian at the show. Wale gave a great performance but I was really impressed with K'naan's performance and the live band was sick. Oh yeah after the show I walk outside and guess who i see Tabi Bonney. He is real cool guy and i bought two of his cd's and he signed both of them for me.
On the way home i got pulled over by the cop. I was guilty of DWB (driving while black) lol in a rental car with out of state tags. The cop did a full search of the car and everything i mean he opened the hood and trunk and even had the dog come around and sniff while i waited in the back seat of his patrol truck. After he finished he let me go and i was back to Cincinati to get my hair done.

Happy Birthday Bob Marley
Happy Birthday Bob Marley. My Uncle Fredo was the first person to introduce to me Bob Marley. I remember he played the Legend CD while driving in his Toyota Supra. I remember singing along with Jammin.......Oooooh yea were jammin.....back to the post. I remember going to his house later that week and asking if I could borrow the cd and he hit me with the infamous, NO NO MY BROTHER YOU GOT TO GET YOUR OWN. I saved up some money and finally bought my own copy and been a fan ever since. This year with Sade dropping her Sade of Love cd I was inspired to make a shirt for a couple of Soldiers of Love. Bob Marley was the first artist that came to mind. He was very adamant of spreading the messages of love thru music and his life. The shirt speaks for itself. The quote on the back is a quote I try to model my life after. You can say I am Soldier of Love in training. Soldiers of Love never take days off. You can purchase this shirt at the Sucka 4 Love Shop or OTR (1307 Main St. Cincinnati,OH)

MOMMA I MADE IT
Sucka 4 Love Clothing has been around since fall of 2006 and we finally got our shirts in a store. The good folks at OTR (Original Thought Required) liked what they say and decided to carry a couple of our t-shirts. Probably one of the happiest days of my life. I literally sat in the shop for like two hours just staring at my shirt on the racks. I hope they don't stay on the racks too long.
